Megan Lloyd

Jacaranda Blossom

Megan Lloyd is a recent geography graduate from Aberystwyth University, Wales. During her degree she studied a wide range of topics from natural hazards and geology to cultural geography, economics and politics. Topics more closely associated with the work of Sustainability Frontiers were also studied, such as disaster risk reduction, natural hazards, climate change science and adaptations to and perceptions of climate change were also covered.

In addition to geography, Megan has always been creative and enjoys painting, drawing and photography and a range of sports such as surfing and horse riding. Having had her own horses, she enjoys competing locally and riding around the beautiful Devonshire countryside.

Being local to East Devon, Megan is keen to kick-start some projects with local communities to give Sustainability Frontiers more of a local impact and presence in addition to its international projects.

Megan’s hope is that during her career she will promote sustainability by helping in the design of new, eco-friendly developments and educating people about living alongside nature, whether in their local region or on a wider scale.
