A new article by David Selby and Fumiyo Kagawa, Emerging Dimensions of Global Environmental Education, has just been published by the Greek online journal, For Environmental Education. The article looks at key features of global environmental education before turning to two important areas of development in the field, climate change education and disaster risk reduction education. The interface between the two areas and how they relate to the broad fields of environmental and sustainability education is then examined. Examples of noteworthy practice are given throughout.
